How to Play War Mode — Tower Defense Guide

War Mode tower defense guide: lane mechanics, level 500–1000 XP grinding, Chi management, and how War Mode differs from Great Shindo War in July 2026.

War Mode Basics

War Mode is Shindo Life’s classic tower-defense map — shared lanes, escalating NPC waves, and the best XP-per-minute route for levels 500–1000. It is separate from July 2026’s Great Shindo War Main Mission, which pays Spins instead of raw level progress.

The embedded leveling video shows War Mode in the XP roadmap. Read the War Mode map page for spawn lanes next.

Entering War Mode

Map access

Travel to the War Mode map via mission board or teleport scroll. Level 400+ Private Server Codes exist for uninterrupted grinding — see Private Server Codes. Equip AoE Elements before queueing.

Lane Strategy

Hold the center lane with Acid or Prism Style AoE while a teammate covers side spawns. Activate Gate of Death or Tailed Beast Bomb during double-wave spikes. Do not stand still — reposition between lanes before Chi runs dry.

War Mode vs Great Shindo War

War Mode = XP bridge. Great Shindo War = endgame currency (8–15 Spins, up to 1.5M RELLcoins). Run War Mode until level 1000, then pivot to GSW with the loadouts on our Great Shindo War guide.

Build Sync

Mirror ratios from the War Mode Build page. Narumaki Six Paths and Code-Gaiden remain top Bloodlines for burst windows between waves.
